Communication:
Daily non-stop flights are available from capital city Dhaka on United Airways, Regent Airways and Novo Air. The journey by plane takes 50 to 60 minutes and fare is BD taka 6000.00 to 7000.00 one way.

 By bus it will take about 10-12 hours from Dhaka and 3.5 to 4 hours from Chittagong.
The private bus service "Green Line, Shohag Paribahan, Shyamoli Paribahan, Hinf Enterprise , Soudi, TR Travels provide luxury AC bus service from Dhaka and Chittagong. The fare BD Taka 1400-1900 from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar. Many Non-AC bus service are available from Dhaka and Chittagong to Cox's Bazar costing from Dhaka BD Taka 850 to 900. And BD taka 250 to 360 from Chittagong.

The private bus companies have offices near down in the Hotel Motel Zone kolatoli road. 

 Get around:
Cycle-rickshaws are plentiful, and the ride between Hotel Motel Zone and the Sugandha point & Laboni point area on the main roaming should cost Tk.20 to Tk.30. Auto Ricksha also available.

 See:
The sailor " Captain Cox" explored the locality to name it on his own name. The local people are Burmese and Chittagonian. The major people are Muslims some Budditst also there.

The Cox's Bazar, tourist capital of Bangladesh, you can see here kilometers of golden sand, surfing waves, pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes, testy seafood.

Himchari: It is about 8 km from Cox's Bazar city center. This is nice place for a picnic and photo-shooting. The famous "Broken Hill" and waterfalls here are rare sights.

Maheskhali: An island off the cast of Cox's Bazar. There is a shrine of Adinath and Buddhist Pagoda. 

Restaurant:
Jhawban Restaurant and Poushee Restaurant, nest door to to each other on Hotel Sayeman road, serve excellent Bangladeshi food including fried fish and seafood. Both are the best restaurant
in Cox's Bazar.
